Schetelig Group
Schetelig Group is a family owned company that serves all garden professionals already in the fifth generation, as Oscar Schetelig founded Oy Schetelig Ab in 1929.
The Schetelig Group is a multi-purpose company in the horticultural sector, whose operations are divided into three business areas: Professional Growing, Landscaping and Home & Garden.
Schetelig In Finland
SCH-Yhtiöt is a holding company for the Group. Schetelig Oy is a wholesaler for customers in three different business areas. Schetelig is also having a branch office in Närpiö which serves vegetable greenhouse growers in the area. Schetelig Group’s head office is located on metropolitan area in Vantaa, Finland, see picture below.
Customers
The three business areas include e.g. professional greenhouse growers, open field growers, berries and fruit growers and forestry. Cities and communes, graveyards, golf courses and sports fields, landscapers, landscape designers and real estate, property managers and maintenance companies. And hobby garden retailers like garden centers, department stores, hardware stores and DIY-stores all over in Finland.
Production unit
Oy Ansari-Yhtymä is a modern production unit and a major producer of rooted cuttings for flower greenhouse growers. It produces also ready potted flowers for the retail market. Ansari-Yhtymä is located in Luumäki, on the eastern side of Finland (about 250 km from Helsinki). Schetelig Abroad
Schetelig Group has foreign subsidiary in Slovakia, Schetelig CE (schetelig.sk) operates also in Hungary and Czech Republic. Schetelig CE operate as wholesaler to greenhouse growers; planning and building greenhouses, heating stations, biological plant protection and open field irrigation systems. Additionally to these in Slovakia we also have a Garden Center for the consumers with hobby gardener products, like seeds, plants, growing accessories and gardening machines.
